Flash Fiction Friday Instructions

Hello Everyone!!

As we try to get FFF (Flash Fiction Friday) back up and running again, I've been getting questions about how it works, so here is my shot at doing just that.....

These instructions are also posted permanently HERE!

Each week, usually on Sunday, but sometimes as late as Wednesday, I will post the prompt that sets the tone for coming Friday's post. The post will be titled something like FFF- Prompt - Date.
The prompt post consists of a picture, a keyword or phrase, a word limit, and sometimes "extra credit" that really is just for fun. (The whole thing is just for fun, remember that.)
You come to my page and see the prompt. The easiest way to get it is to follow me in Blogger, add me to your blog roll so you see it when it posts. Here is an example. Here is another
Go to your own blog and create a new post, usually with "FFF" or "Flash Fiction" in the title along with a date and some hint to what the piece is about.
To get the picture, right-click on the picture in my post and select Copy Link Location.
Go to your post and click on the icon to add a picture, select "From a URL", paste in the URL, and the picture should appear in your post.
Most people then type in the keyword/phrase, word limit, and "extra credit"so their readers know what is going on. For great examples, follow the links at the bottom here
Then, write what ever comes to you. Most entries will be a little sexy, some very sexy, some sad, dark, happy, goofy, silly, dangerous, lonely, sensual, it goes all over the map.
The idea for FFF is that we all start with common elements (Picture, Keyword, word limit) but come out with drastically different stories. That is why it is so much fun.
Schedule your post to publish on Friday. Most people schedule it for the morning to maximize readership.
My post goes up at 12:01 AM Friday morning, California Time. I know that for many people, this is inconvenient since their Friday has started hours before (Sorry Europe).
After my post goes up, come back to my post (at a time convenient for you, don't wake up at 3:00 AM or anything), and add your link to the "link collector".
Click on the "Add Your Link" button.
Enter the link to your post:
For example: http://advizortoall.blogspot.com/2013/01/fff-jan-25.html
Enter your name as you want it to appear
Add your e-mail (required, but not displayed)
Click "Submit Link" and you are done.
You name (as you entered it) will appear on the list, others will click on it, read it, give you praise and love, and then you will tweet about it to all of your Twitterverse friends. (or not).
THEN!!! Go and read the other entries, leave pithy and thoughtful comments, be supportive, give praise, and, above all else, be nice. You will enjoy them all.
And then go tell your friends about it.

“What made you choose Cal Luthren? She asked

“I don’t rightly know.” He cinched the knot between her ankles, “My dad arranged some interviews and said that if I didn’t accept the scholarship he’d cut off my trust fund. Why did you?”

He admired her bare cunt in the light of the dorm room window.

"I like teaching here”, she said with a sigh, “The students are so eager to learn at a religious school.”

“I had no idea you Duke girls were in to betting on hoops.” He admired his knot. “This should teach you a lesson about gambling.”

His fingers dipped between her lips and felt her readiness.

She moaned in the dark behind the blindfold.

The bet was simple, two swats for every point her team lost by.

She felt her body quiver, swell, and tingle inside.

He raised his hand, “What was the final score again?”

She loved his weight on her back and the light tickle of her open blouse on her bare breasts. They hung from her chest, heavy, full, ripe, and eager. His hands were soft and his knots were tight and she felt herself dripping, pulsing, warming, swelling. She rested against the headboard and clenched and released, doing her Kegals as commanded.

“You make fuck me now.” She whispered. She had gotten to CUAjust in time.

I couldn't resist going for all three, but the 75 word limit was short. At first I thought about writing 3 jokes about my favorite schools, but joke are tough and though "brevity is the soul of wit", 75 words was too short for a set-up, suspension, and punch line.

So instead you got the teacher, the gambler, and the catholic girl. All favorites. :-)

SO, write your story, add your link, take a lunch, and get to work!! Even if you are reading this on Friday, it's not to late!!!

Cookie Monster

TO First Time Visitors!!!! This is not a cooking blog, but there is a lot of talk about eating.

I am so doing this for this year's Christmas Party (oh, wait, I don't have any friends) Damn.

My favorite cookies:

1 cup butter (2 sticks) - melted

3/4 cup granulated sugar (white)

3/4 cup brown sugar

3 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

Blend 1st 5 ingredients in a bowl with mixer

2 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 package (big box) vanilla pudding mix (you can also use chocolate pudding for extra love)

2 cups dark chocolate chips (or use white if you use the chocolate pudding mix)

add 2 tbls milk (at the end)

Be sure to put dough in fridge in between batches.
Put cookie sheet under cold water nd dry between batches.

Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. Cook Naked, Serve bare, with milk.

I got this recipe from a friend who said it was a family tradition, until her husband pulled me to the side and said her "family tradition" was reading magazines about cookies.
