Photography in Ballard

Patrick and I went to Root Table for dinner this evening. It's a very small sort of Thai fusion restaurant in Ballard. I love their bathroom. It's down a bunch of stairs and then inside this creepy little hallway made of cinder blocks. It has such possibilities! I had to take my phone with me and channel my inner artist. Here are the pictures I came up with:

Ghostlight - keeping the darkness at bay

Bloodied Stairway - climb up alone, or not at all

Glow - a light in the darkness, but a price tag is attached

I have been super busy today

But here are a couple pictures anyway. One is a shot of that same stone angel that Patrick took and I edited (he's taller than I am, so the perspective is slightly different), and the other is a shot I took of a reflection in my Kindle. Thought it looked kinda neat. Glad y'all liked the other pictures! We will have to return when it isn't quite so damn cold and get more.

My head is killing me (not literally)

This cold SUCKS. I'm sorry for not commenting on y'all's blogs. I am still reading, but my phone has quit allowing me to comment on them for some reason, and my head hurts too much to get up and do it at the laptop. I promise I am not ignoring any of you!

Thank you for the comments on the last one, girls. I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday, and we'll see what comes of it. I agree with you that something needs to change as far as the meds go!

We left an electric candle on last night, since sometimes having a light on makes the nightmares less bad when I wake up from them, and I slept all right. So I dug around and found a nightlight I bought years ago and plugged it in beside my bed. Maybe it will help. Can't hurt, anyway.

I hope you all have had a nice weekend. I'll definitely be glad when I'm feeling better.
