An update on my phone friend

I saw her at church today after a week of complete text/e-mail/chat silence.  She looked stunning and I avoided her gaze (if she was looking at me) and that of her husband.  I tried to be a non-entity.

Almost ran in to her coming around a corner and got a startled "Hi" and a pat on the elbow, but I didn't make eye contact or return the greeting.

I don't need the drama.
