There ought, perhaps to be another word which means something along the lines of "I really like you, a bit more than just an acquaintance, not quite as much as a full time lover/partner/husband but still it feels just as strong and is entirely socially unacceptable for me to speak my feelings out loud.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
