Patrick and I were lying in bed last night trying to come up with post-apocalyptic soap opera names (which is probably funny to no one but us):
- As The World Burns
- All My Mutations
- General Mayhem
- The Young And The Lifeless
It was actually sunny yesterday, so Patrick mowed the lawn while I trimmed a bunch of stuff and yanked more weeds. Somehow I managed to snap the tip off my cheap lawn shears, along with bending them or something
(probably by ramming them into the dirt to help me dig out a weed when I left my digger elsewhere), so they wouldn't close all the way, and that is not very helpful for doing yardwork. So I threw those away and we're going to have to get some more. But I managed to get most of it done before they became unusable, so the lawn looks nice. There's always more work to be done, but I feel pleased for now.
