WHY. And some jackets.

This is yet another biker complaint session.

I was driving to work today on Aurora (Hwy 99, for anyone who's familiar with the area), and as I'm going along in the right lane, there all of a sudden is a biker. It is POURING, mind you. And this is on the 40mph section, so of course everyone's trying to go at least 50. But he's just toodling along at about 35, heedless of the trucks swerving around him and the driving rain that makes it hard to see even with your wipers going.

I got around him and so did Patrick behind me (driving separately because he has a recording gig later today; we normally carpool), but really? How do you ever think that is a good idea? It's not particularly safe riding a bicycle on Aurora in the slower spots when it's dry and sunny, much less in these conditions. If that guy isn't dead by the end of today, I will be amazed.

I went to the Rack yesterday to see if they had any decently priced leather jackets, and I tried on a bunch but none of them were really turning my crank. I did however learn that you can make the drawing-a-bow motion in Michael Kors jackets pretty easily. I'm sure everyone there thought I was psychotic. Not only am I dumping my stuff on the ground to try on coats, I'm then posing in them in a really weird fashion. I wonder what on earth that would look like to someone who didn't know what I was doing... Drugs, that's what.
