A new day...

OK, technically this is the 2nd "new day" of a new year, but yesterday already had a post scheduled and it seemed greedy to put up two in one day when starving kids in Africa went to bed without any posts at all.

(You'd think that Post cereal would get in to the blog business, seems like a perfect marketing match.)

The main point of this post is to say that I won't be around much this week, if at all.  You see, he says with a smile, I'm going on vacation and will probably be computer-free from Monday - Friday, and then privacy-free for the few days after that until the kids go back to school. Vacation is going to be fun.  We are going on a short cruise of the California coast, and, I'll admit, I'm looking forward to stepping away from my phone, phone, laptop, computer, and e-mail.

I will miss (I already miss) my friends a great deal, but starting off the New Year with family will be nice. However, don't expect any great sex stories to come out of this vacation.  Cabins on a cruise are expensive so we have 4 people in my room and very small beds. I'm hoping for one shared orgasm, a couple on my own, and one in a lifeboat with a random heiress who's not in  love with her fiance, however, the last time I saw that happen it didn't turn out well for the rest of the passengers.

So, have a great week.  Enjoy the optimism of a new year, the chance to start fresh, don't let the cliche of "New Year's Resolutions" stop you from making them, even if they are the sames ones as last year.

Learn to cook
Treat yourself better
Watch less TV
Get published
Finish your musical, screenplay, short story, and collection of Kabuki poetry.

There is much to do, let's get to it, and after it's all done, blog about it so I have something to read!
